Mailbox Surprise
Not too long ago, I made a quilt block for Frances Holliday Alford for her 70th birthday. Yesterday, this lovely thank you note arrived.
If you look closely, you can see it includes a cancelled stamp. And here's a fun tidbit; this 32 cent clipper stamp was issued in 1997. How cool is that? Thank you Frances! What a lovely surprise. I feel like we've done a kind of art exchange.
