'Tis the Season

The end of the school year is approaching and in most districts, it's time for the annual art show.  It's rare that I'm not glad I made an effort to see what's on display.  The students show tremendous creativity, imagination, and skill.  This year was no exception.

The view as you enter the student art show.
I walked up and down the aisles of fabulous art for about half an hour.  Here are some of my favorites; to protect the privacy of the students, I've listed the artists only by their first name.

Basia's  drawing

Sofia's drawing

Elias' photograph

Amanda's triptych

 William's graphic art

Ann's drawing

Gabrielle's photograph
Youssef's drawing

Aren't these incredible? ( Cropping errors and lighting issues are entirely my fault.)  I urge you to support your local area students.   Schools often advertise their shows and the public is always welcome to see the wonderful art these artists are creating.

Wow! Kudos to the students, and also to the school for having such a great art department to nurture all that talent. I want to know what was going on in the head of the chicken kitchen boy!
