I'm excited to report that my quilt, "Departure", has been juried into the show Made in New York. It will be hanging at the Williams Club in New York City from September 22 through November 14, 2009. I'll post a photo once the show begins. It's a happy summer day!

On a side note, the postcard I sent to Germany for my aunt's birthday arrived in fine condition. Now we know foil can pass through the international postal routes just fine.

WAY TO GO! Congratulations on getting into "Made in New York" AND for getting your postcard across the big pond in good shape.

I also love this photo. How did you get it? Wonderful how the light plays!

Congratulations on getting into the show. My Succulent Succulents made it, too.
Your aunt must have loved the postcard. I'm sure it's the best and most original card she got.

Thanks so much! I am very excited.

I'm glad you like the picture; I took it in the afternoon when the light is gorgeous. Believe it or not, I took it in shallow water with a waterproof camera. I just held the camera in the water and click! That's why it looks a bit watery.
