What I'm Reading Today

I'm continuing my reading in preparation for the "Sparkling Amazons: Abstract Expressionist Women of the 9th St. Show" exhibition at the Katonah Museum of Art.  (Can I tell you again how FABULOUS this show is going to be?!?)  

On the docket for today is more research into the sociological and cultural influences that made the 1950s such a unique decade in US history.  It's been fascinating to see how different authors analyze and reflect on the same data and come up with different conclusions.   Here's what I'm currently reading.
