Took Me Long Enough

It's done! Finally.  The top for my nephew's quilt is complete.

Forgive the wonky photo but the top is too big for my limited design wall space.  Instead, I stood on a chair, with arms stretched above my head, to get the photo of the quilt top spread out on a bed.

I know it's not a traditional looking baby quilt, but I rather like the graphic nature of this black and white quilt.   Hopefully he does too.

I'm sending this off to be quilted because I just don't have the time to finish it in the midst of my other projects.  The child is already one year old and shouldn't be made to wait longer.  I'll share a pic of the finished quilt as soon as it comes back.
