Back in the Studio

Yesterday I finally finished enough of the items on my "must-do" list to carve out studio time.  It was pure joy to start some free motion quilting. I took out a piece of printed cloth and decided to follow the lines and shapes of the printing.

Here's how the back looks.  In some ways it's more interesting than the front.

I also found a solution -- I think -- to a problem that's been plaguing me on another project.   If this picture looks a bit confusing, well, you'll just have to wait and see.   I'll explain it what it all means another time.  For now, it's back to my "to-do" list; I've got to whip through my weekend tasks.  I'm energized and can't wait to get back into my studio!
